Math Blog- in the Math Blog reflect on today performance task.  Discuss the strategies that you used to  solve the problem, what strategies do you think you could have implemented and used now that you have had a chance to start the performance task?  or reflect on your Math thinking while completing the task (success, needs improvenment)

SOCIAL STUDIES:  Students are to complete the research for their inquiry question that they posed during their expert group analysis of a community within Canada.  Research Question then post response in the Social Studies Blog.

Heritage and Identity Wiki- Start to research in your expert group your selected research area.  Remember to refer to the big idea questions and to pose your own question that you may have.

SCIENCE: 
Grade 5/6:  students have been assigned into new groups to design a transformation of energy device or a concept green home based on their knowledge applied in online and in-class discussions on various energy/electricity consumption.  Continue to use time in-class and at-home within your Energy/Electricity Wiki to build upon ideas, planning and any further research needed for your concept green home.

MEDIA: 
Book Cover: Media Triangle: Analyzing Texts, select a collection of book covers and analyze them (select two questions from each side of the triangle TEXT / AUDIENCE / PRODUCTION) and share your thoughts within your blog.  PAST DUE

COMMUNITY WALK:  Due Monday January 27- over the next week go on a community walk with a parent to analyze the types of communities and/or business that are within our community.
